Probabilities, fair odds and edge

AI football odds predictor and value analysis

BetData estimates the probability of a football outcome and compares it with the available fair-market probability. The difference is the model edge used by the recommendation filters.

How the value signal works

A bookmaker price can be converted into an implied probability. BetData compares market information with its own pre-match estimate and records the gap as edge. A positive gap can indicate value, but it does not automatically become a recommended pick: confidence, price, consistency and risk filters must also pass.

Model edge = model probability − fair-market probability. For example, a model probability of 82% and fair-market probability of 77% produces an estimated edge of 5 percentage points.

Is BetData an AI value bet finder?

BetData performs value bet analysis inside its football prediction workflow, but it is not a real-time multi-bookmaker arbitrage scanner and does not promise profit. It publishes the probability, available fair-market comparison and settled result so the signal can be evaluated rather than accepted as a marketing claim.

Football probability calculator versus a pre-match model

A simple football probability calculator usually converts user inputs or odds into a percentage. BetData is not a manual calculator: it automatically produces pre-match market estimates from the available team data and then applies consistency, price and risk filters. The output remains an estimate rather than a guaranteed “true probability.”

Match winner

Win probability based on form, opponent strength and draw risk.

Handicap

Estimated probability for the selected Asian or European handicap line.

Team to score

The probability that a selected team scores at least one goal.

Both teams to score

A joint estimate of home and away scoring potential.

Over 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5

Probabilities of at least one, two or three match goals. Over 0.5 is free; Over 2.5 is included in AI Premium.

Under totals

Low-scoring probability based on the goals model and defensive team profiles.

What an odds prediction cannot guarantee

A model probability is an estimate and even a genuine edge can lose. Odds can move, data can be incomplete and football contains unavoidable variance. BetData therefore shows historical outcomes and never labels a prediction as guaranteed.
